Bio

moonist is the cologne based singer songwriter, producer and lyricist Lisa Ruhland. She's been releasing alternative Pop music with a twist of soul, Jazz and folk since 2015.

in 2015 Moonist self-released a Demo called "stiction point" where she teamed up with the cologne based sound engineer Sascha BEcks (Yokmo) and the electronic music producer Max Schweder (strange attractor).

In 2020 she got together with a band and recorded the 5 track EP „moonist was a racing horse“ in Cologne Studio A with the music producer and drummer NIklas Schneider. The EP was performed live.

In 2021 Moonist collaborated With the cologne based electronic music producer Frieder Vogel on Vencie and digitally released it via record jet along with a video she produced.

On August 12th 2022 Moonist released The EP "live at topaz studio cologne,2021" which was recorded live in the Studio with the band. It is experimental Pop Music, with a lean into fusion, Jazz and a soulful voice. Listen via spotify:

Rumours

Right now Moonist is in the Process of making their Debut Album Spirit Shake which is about to be released in 2024. Note: Rumours about the Album already being leaked via WWW since the rough tapes got stolen on a Northern European airport last summer are not confirmed by the MNGMT!
